Freakin Con Artist!!! Quoted my daughter 29.95 to come out to get the keys out of her locked car. Got there, said he couldn't get in thru the window that he had to "Pick the lock". He did this for about 3 minutes, quit and then used the Air Bag that Tow Truck Drivers use along with a Long Rod and pressed the Unlock Button on the door. Still charged 110.00 even though he did not "Pick the lock". Claimed if he had not did what he did trying to pick the lock, the Anti Theft Device would have locked the door up. Called local Towing and Locksmith and they said that was Bullshit!!! They were aware of this company and their shady practices. Beware: Call someone else! You can normally trust a Towing/Locksmith Company for lock outs on an Auto, not these Assholes that show up in a Beat Up, Ragged Out, Piece of shit for a car. That should have been the first sign. Oh well, cost of tuition!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Fuck this place. It is a SCAM!!! They absolutely misrepresented the pricing. They originally said it would be $15 for the locksmith, but I knew that couldn't be the case, so I inquired further. He then said it was $15 for the "locksmith" to be dispatched, and then $35 to actually unlock it. That's not a terrible price, so I said, "Okay."
When the high school kid, who was advertised as a licensed, experienced professional, showed up, he blocked my car in and told his girlfriend to wait in the car. He then proceeded to tell me that it would actually be $85 for him to unlock it, bringing the price up to $100 total.
He told me the $35 quoted to me earlier was only the starting fee, and he could adjust the price at his discretion. He didn't say it quite like that, as I'm pretty sure the kid couldn't put a sentence together without half a can of dip in his mouth. There were no extra parts involved, and it took him about 30 seconds to actually unlock it. So the fact that he raised the price by $50 would have been laughable, if I hadn't already been so pissed.
It was late at night, and I had already waited for 45 minutes and had somewhere to be, so I had to say, "Fuck it," and let him do it. Otherwise I would have told him to scram.
When this originally happened, I didn't do too much research into the company, specifically their website, because I was in a hurry to get the problem resolved. If I had taken a little more time, I would have realized this was a scam based on their website. It literally reads like it was written by a first grader. I would actually feel better if it were written by a first grader, but this was a GROWN person who typed this up, and I'm sure someone else gave them the go-ahead, which is honestly quite sad.
All this is to warn you NOT to use this company!!! They have a nice little SCAM going on, I'll give them that. Don't waste your time or money. Trust me.
Worst company to ever use. I rather be stranded on the outside of my house than use this company ever again. They lied about pricing when they showed up and they broke a piece of my door. SCAM! I called two different times and they both said the same price but then when they showed up he said a completely diff price. Fucking liars is what they are. I hope this honest review helps others stay away
I wish I didn't have to give any star at all!
New to Alabama, I was told I needed two forms of federal ID to begin utility services. Of course our important documents were in a safe that I couldn't find the keys for the day I needed them and had no idea where to look. At my mom's suggestion, I called the locksmith to see what it might take to open the safe (4/20). The woman I spoke to said she'd see if the technician was available and that it would be $15 to have him come look at the safe. I asked for a price quote for what unlocking a small safe usually ran as it wasn't an expensive one and if need be I'd just break it and replace it. She said she couldn't give a quote over the phone but that the technician would before beginning work. The technician showed up at my door without asking if I needed his assistance first, looks at the safe and proceeds to unlock it without again asking if I want his help and never giving me any price quote. It took him less than a second to open it and then he asked me to fill out my information on the billing receipt. He then proceeded to fill out the pricing without me seeing it, tri-folded my copy when he handed it over and ran out the door. I gathered up my toddler and infant to head out the door for our late appointment at the utility company.
I get a call a few minutes later from my husband asking why the world we just got an email receipt for $224! We were both flabbergasted at the price and the complete shady manner in which this company provided the service and basically preformed highway robbery. I immediately called the company back, explained the situation to the same gal I had spoken to earlier, and she then proceeded to give me a price quote on safes...so she apparently lied telling me she couldn't do that before the technician came. If anyone had given me a price quote like I asked for several times, I wouldn't have hired the technician in the first place. I expressed my complete frustration and she told me she'd reach out to someone higher up to call me back and resolve the situation.
A few hours later I get a call from one of the rudest men I have ever dealt with in my life. Without giving his name or why he was calling, he answered with, "I was told I had to drop everything and call this number." I had to guess he was calling from the locksmith, explained my situation, then listened in complete shock as he proceeded to yell at me for having an issue with the pricing, not offer any apology, telling me they did nothing wrong and wouldn't help me whatsoever, then hung up on me. I have never been treated with such disrespect by anyone at any business. Based on that call alone I would hope no one would ever have to work for such an unpleasant, cruel person.
I called the company back again two days later (4/22) asking for that man's name and who else I could speak to in the company who had more power than him to explain the situation. I spoke to another woman this time and she asked me to explain the situation again. She actually listened and said she would take it up with the owner when he came back in the following day and would call me back. It is now 5 days later (4/27) and I have yet to hear anything from anyone.
This company clearly runs an unethical business, is not forthright with their customers, treats them without any respect and basically committed fraud in my opinion by the way they handled their billing. I will never again use their services and will do everything in my power to make sure others know not to as well.
